ABOUT PERSONAL INTERNET BANKING

WHY INTERNET BANKING?

Convenient
• Meet your banking needs anytime, anywhere – make inquiries, transfers, manage finances, and more.

Safe and Secure
• Transactions are secure; as you must log into your own account and authenticating using an e-Password device before performing any transactions.

Efficient
• Increases transaction efficiency by allowing you to complete certain tasks with just your fingertips, eliminating the need to visit a branch.

(I) ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
1. User Name Management
Personalize the logon User Name according to personal favors.

2. A/C Alias Management
Name your accounts or cards of Internet Banking for easy maintenance.

3. Add Registered Account
Add bank accounts to your Internet Banking.

4. Del Linked Cards & A/C
Self-Delete linked cards and accounts by the customer.

(II)ACCOUNT ENQUIRY
1. Balance Enquiry

View the current balance of your accounts under Internet Banking.

2. Details Enquiry
View all transaction details (or one by one) in a period of time (half a year at most) of your linked accounts under Internet Banking.

3. Bank Statement Viewing/Download
This function supports the viewing and download of Statements for all accounts linked under Internet Banking.

4. Check e-Payroll Slip–summary
Check your salary online only after your company signs an agreement to authorize ICBC to pay employee salaries via Internet Banking. 

5. Check e-slip
View and print the e-slip(transaction receipt) of transfer and payment through Internet Banking.

6. Report Loss
The 'Report Loss' feature (known as 'kill switch') is a self-service that lets you protect your funds from online scams and enhance your online banking security.

(III) TRANSFERS
1. Transfer from Savings/Current Account (CASA) to other Savings/Current Account within the bank

Transfer within ICBC Malaysia : Use internet banking to transfer fund between your own or third party CASA. 

2. Pay to Other Bank 
Payment or transfer of funds to other banks in Malaysia can be done via DuitNow Pay-To-Account or Interbank Giro Transfer (IBG). Funds transferred via DuitNow Pay-To-Account service are credited instantly to the beneficiary.
Other than DuitNow Pay-To-Account, customers can use DuitNow Pay-To-Proxy for transfer of funds via DuitNow ID ( Mobile Number, NRIC Number, Passport Number, Business registration number and Army / Police ID

3.Cross-border Remittance
Payment to a beneficiary in other country can be submitted via cross-border remittance service.


(IV) FIXED DEPOSIT
1. My Fixed Deposit

A series of functions include viewing the fixed deposits balance, withdrawing fixed deposit, roll over of fixed deposit.

2. Fixed Deposit Placement
Place fixed deposit in both RM and all other supported foreign currencies.

3. Withdrawal fixed deposit
Withdraw Fixed deposit can be transferred to the linked savings accounts.

(V) PAY BILL
With JomPAY, you can pay bill by using funds from your Savings, Current or Credit Card accounts through ICBC Internet Banking. It’s fast, safe, and convenient.



(VI) CUSTOMER SERVICE
It is a group of Internet Banking functions to customise welcome page(Internet Banking home page), update your information, change your password and e-password device management.
1. Default daily limit for payment and transfer is set at RM 5,000.00, the daily limit maybe adjusted higher or lower than the default limit.

2. Any increase of daily limit for the transfer or payment services will subject to a cooling off period of 12 hours.

3. Self-service security feature, “Kill Switch” feature is available in personal internet banking. If you suspect your login credentials have been compromised (e.g., lost/stolen device, phishing attempt, unusual activity), use “Cancel Internet Banking” under the customer service function. This instantly terminate the online banking account, preventing unauthorized transactions while you contact us.


(VII) FEE AND CHARGE
The commision fee of RM2.00 and cable charge of RM30.00 are applicable for each cross-border remittance transaction initiated from internet and mobile banking.

(IX)ESSENTIAL PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES FOR SAFE E-BANKING
You shall take all precautions to ensure and prevent unauthorized and fraudulent use of the Services or any part of them and/or the Online Security Device and/or the Transaction Authorization Code(TAC) and/or Secure Personal Identification Number(PIN) including but not limited to the following :- 

1)That the security codes, which include your Username, Password, Online Security Device PIN, Secure PIN and any other security code as the Bank may issue from time to time, must be kept as secret, not accessible to any person and are not written down in any form or manner which may be deciphered by anyone or kept together or disclosed or exposed to any person (including the employees of ICBC) under any circumstances or at any time. Any advice sent to you containing the security codes, must be destroyed immediately after you have received and read them. Any e-mail or Short Message Services (SMS) requesting for your security codes is to be reported to ICBC immediately; 

2)That you are to ensure that the computer terminal or personal electronic device or Mobile Device you are using will not allow recording of your activities and that the necessary anti-spyware and firewalls are installed; 

3)That you shall not leave the computer or Mobile Device from which you have accessed the Services unattended or let anyone else use it until you have logged off from the Services;

4)That you ensure that you are always logged in to the correct Uniform Resource Locator(URL) for ICBC Internet Banking Services as informed by the Bank; 

5)That you shall ensure you have logged off from the Services at the end of each session;

6)That you are not to utilize ICBC Internet Banking Services through Internet cafes or any public places offering Internet services and you are to log off from ICBC Internet Banking Services before leaving your computer terminal; 

7)You are to change your Password when requested to or on a periodical basis; 

8)Ownership: The security codes, issued to you shall remain the property of ICBC. Upon termination of the Services, the security codes shall be deemed unusable; 

9)Non-Transferability: The security codes are issued solely for your use and you shall not transfer, pledge or otherwise use it as security in any form nor part with the use of the same to any other person; 

10)Loss, theft of or damage to the security codes: You shall immediately inform ICBC through the Hotline or in writing to the address set out in clause 17.2 in the Terms and Conditions for ICBC Internet Banking Services and ICBC Mobile Banking Services, in the event of any loss, theft of or damage to the security codes. Until and unless there is a replacement of the security codes, ICBC will not accept any instructions after receipt of such written notification; 

11)Exposure of the security codes: If the security codes are exposed or suspected to be exposed to any person, you shall immediately request for new security codes or change the security codes, as the case may be to protect your own interest. ICBC shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage suffered in such circumstances;

12)You shall download the Application from official Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery or other application stores that are approved by the Bank;

13)That you shall not use any computer terminal or Mobile Device that cannot be trusted;

14)That you shall clear browser cache each time after you have accessed the Services. 


NOTE
It is important to provide us up-to-date mobile number to ensure receiving of timely transaction alerts from the bank.
Please take note that ICBC Malaysia will not collect customer information such as personal details, personal account information, online banking user name, or password or other personal security information through physical mail, email or telephone.
